We will hike into the North Creek Cabin where we have a stash of food, fuel, and tools, and put in some time working on the trails above the cabin and improving the access to the alpine.  We will have time to scramble up some of the peaks (Mt. Sears or Sessel) but will be staying off the glaciers.  An ice axe and micro spikes would be handy given the amount of snow that remains in the high country.  We won't need to bring any tents, cooking equipment or sleeping pads as there are plenty at the cabin.  There is also enough food for most of our needs with a little supplementing.  It should be a fun 50/50 work/hike.  Bring your work gloves and bear spray.  The last ten km of the road are best suited for AWD or 4WD but don't require high clearance.  A Subaru is fine.  Hope you can make it.
