This trip is only open to BCMC Mentorship Program participants. Preference will be given to mentees of the organizer (mentor). The organizer can open this trip to other mentees/mentors if needed.

Trip details:

Day 1: Drive early to Park Butte trailhead, ascent to Sandy Camp or higher, depending on conditions. Set camp, chill out, practice skills if time allows. Early bed.

Day 2: Alpine start to summit. Return to camp, out and back to Vancouver.

Further details to be worked out amongst group.

Gear: List of Gear required for the trip

Snowshoes (likely leave in car), crampons and boots, ice axe, harness, helmet, glacier travel gear, clothing layers suitable for conditions, snow camping gear.
