If you want to carpool from Vancouver, we'll meet at St. David's at 9.
Weekday trad climbing in the 5.8-5.9 range. We can discuss where we want to go in the planning forum. I'm most familiar with the smoke bluffs, but given the forecast, we'll probably want to find a shadier spot.
We'll meet at 10am and will plan to climb until 4 or 5.
You must bring personal climbing gear including: harness, belay device, locking biners, climbing shoes, and helmet. Also bring plenty of water and lunch.
I have a rope and rack, and we can figure out how much group gear we'll have in the planning forum.
While the more experienced climbers are usually happy to share their knowledge, this is not a climbing course.
Cancellation due to weather: - check the weather forecast for where we're going on the morning of the trip (Environment Canada - weatheroffice.gc.ca). If the forecast is 40% PoP or less then we'll go. Anything *above* 40% PoP and the trip is automatically cancelled... *unless* the trip organizer contacts the group to say otherwise.
