Trip details:
Day 1: Drive to Whistler and snowshoe to Kees and Claire hut via the Singing Pass Trail. Approximate hiking distance of 14 km, 1450 m elevation gain. Reservations and proof of full Covid vaccination required for the hut. Discounted hut rates for BCMC members! Be prepared for a good workout with the pack and the amount of snow out there.
Day 2: Wake early and attempt either Fissile Peak or Whirlwind/Overlord, depending on conditions. If conditions are poor, we can practice general mountaineering/crevasse rescue skills near the hut. Hike back to village via Singing pass, food and beers!
