This is not a trad climbing course.

You must know how to lead belay, setup, and clean anchors. Preference will also be given to those who have trad experience and a trad rack.

The goal for this trip is to practice on some novice trad routes. Will mostly be practicing in the 5.4-5.9 range. However, there are 5.10-5.11 trad routes that are also top ropeable. This area is very popular so we will be limiting the number of participants on this trip so we don't hog the wall as a big group. Hopefully we can get some experienced trad climbers to join this trip help out the newer trad climbers. 

We will meet at Murrin parking lot at 4:30pm. We can plan some carpooling options in the planning forum. If Murrin seems wet we can move over to smoke bluffs to climb.
