A potentially good shoulder season hike. It will rain (otherwise I would have picked something more robust). Pace will be moderate to casual, length is ~10km. A good stiff hike for your first time out this season. Brush off the cobwebs and come on down!
Rain gear is also advised: I'd like to go unless there is heavy rain. What is heavy rain? I will probably pull the plug if its 25mm+. But a little sprinkling won't hurt anyone. It could be a long day, so headlamp is a must! I'm probably going to wear hiking boots and gaiters for the mud. You could probably get away with trainers, but anticipate wet terrain. Unlikely to be ice, but I've never done this hike before, so we shall see. And there is a waterfall! You probably figured that out from the name. Anyway, expect some views, good company, and cold rain.
Check out AllTrails (Kennedy Falls) for more info.
Anticipate 5 hours to complete.
Meeting time and place (as directed on the side panel): Mt Fromme, at the end of Mountain Hwy (by the water towers). 9:00AM. Note that parking is very limited and usually consumed quickly with mountain bikers.
There is also another BCMC trip going on that day. Make sure you are in the right trip, or you'll end up going up Mt. Fromme.
