This is a classic trip that has everything: amazing views, interesting navigation challenges on a network of FSRs..etc:)
Not sure how far we will be able to drive on the Roe Creek FSR, but I hope around 800m elevation : be prepared for some walking on the road. See the route in BLUE below.
Ski crampons are mandatory!
Please be considerate and do NOT sign up unless you are 100% committed for the trip and you are at least an intermediate skier in the Backcountry, which means you have at least 2 seasons(10 trips) of experience. If in doubt about your capabilities send me a message and we can talk about it:)
This is a trip for intermediate and advanced BC skiers only. We won't do any crazy chutes but you should be able to ski black runs under any type of conditions .
Will be moving at moderate pace, so if you are a slow skier this trip might not be for you.
MUST have :
AST1 training
Shovel, probe and avi beacon
Ski crampons
Food and water for the whole day
First aid kit!
Ski Helmet
