This is a one day course for member with previous mountaineering experience, to refresh their mountaineering skills before the season starts!

The course will cover:

• ropped snow / glacier travel, including safety and terrain evaluation
• snow anchors
• crevasse rescue (drop loop system)
• ascending / descending a rope (subject to finding an appropriate location to set up for this)
• if desire, alpine anchors

Location will most likely be Mt. Seymour, but subject to conditions we may go to Whistler.
