Daytrip up Mt Price

Meeting Place: Rubble Creek Trailhead (Barrier Trail)
Meeting Time: 7:00am

Trip Plan:

4 hours - 12.5km from Parking Area (500m) to Garibaldi Lake (1,450m). Gain 950m elevation.
2.5-3.0 hours - 4 km from Garibaldi Lake (1,450m) to Mt Price Summit (2,046m). Gain 575m elevation.
2.0-2.5 hours - 2nd lap if we're really feeling good and conditions permit. Gain 575m elevation. 
1.0 hour - ski down Barrier Trail to car (probably in the dusk or dark)

Depending on conditions, time, and group fitness, we might attempt a second lap.  Ski crampons are highly recommended for the climb. Bring a good headlamp for the trail down.  Trail down could be quite icy.  

Please consider your fitness level carefully before joining this trip. PARTICIPANTS MUST BE ABLE TO CLIMB ON SKINS AT A MODERATE PACE FOR 7-10 HOURS.
