If tackling all or some of the 7 summits is on your bucket list and local 2500m is your biggest elevation so far, this group might be for you. Goal is to connect with like minded individuals who might be interested in my journey to tackle 6.8 Summits (6 Summits + 8000m Camp of Everest) 1 each year over next 8 years. This is more of a 'group' than an 'event' and is just as much about the journey of preparing, finding others with similar goals and trying to complete at least some of the objectives.

This initial event is a Zoom call to connect, discuss and gauge interest from other members.

While there is no age restriction to join in this journey, I’m 51 as of 2021, the pace and order of objectives might better suit others in my age bracket.

While reasonably fit and having done some backcountry skiing and decent multi-day hikes, I have no Mountaineering experience yet. I'm a late in life wanna be mountaineer long before 14 Peaks aired.

While the summits are the ‘goals’, really this is about the ‘journey’ more than the destinations. So if some or all of the listed objectives or just the process of preparing for those kinds of objectives interests you, please join.

The timelines below takes into consideration allowing enough time for courses & skills development plus build up expeditions to prepare for the more challenging or technical objectives. While the below are the objectives the plan is for multiple 4-5000m and technical objectives per season leading up to the primary objectives of each year. The suggested order is based on a combination of age/skill development but is to be determined by a wide variety of influencing factors.

Intention is to arrange group training and guided events structured to the overall plan for core skills over the next year. Expect an investment of $2-3000 in training + gear if you do not have it yet. Of course each objective comes with its own major expense of $6,000 to $45,000.
