We'll be taking the summer trail part way up, then heading off towards the ridge to hopefully summit. We expect the persistent weak layer to be touchy and the wind slab to be in weird spots, so we'll evaluate as we go, but assume the trees should offer a good run, worst case scenario. The bottom 2.5km of the trail will need to be hiked before we can get to deep enough snow to skin.
The pace will probably be a little above average. The elevation gain is around 1300m. And it'll be cold, I'm preparing for as cold as -20, plus wind chill, at the worst.. We expect to be away from the cars for about 8hrs.
I can drive us, and we'll pick up one participant in Chilliwack. I'll consider adding extra people to the trip if there is an extra driver, but no guarantee.
