This trip is not suitable for newbies. AST2 preferred or 3+ years experience or many days in the backcountry. Good understanding of pre-trip planning worksheets, you can lead a safety meeting and be able to navigate this terrain. Whistler backcountry experience is required. Meeting at the Roundhouse for a safety meeting for 9:30 am ready for safety meeting.
