Route #45 in Alpine Select: AD ice (4-7h) 200m

Day 1: camp on the Wedgemount glacier.

Day 2: climbing north face,  descending by north arete.

Alpine experience required. Everyone has to attend coordination practice on Thursday after work.

Gear: basic climbing, glacier rescue, ice tools, regular ax, pickets, 50/60m half rope, helmet, steel crampons.

Although this is an alpine climbing trip,  regular hikers are welcome to join just for camping (and possibly help with carrying some climbing gear, 5lb max. )

The trip will only go if conditions are good. Otherwise the date will move forward until succeess.
