This will be a fun, informal, and interactive info session for those members who would like to know more about organizing club trips.  

In preparation for this tutorial, anyone who has yet to post a trip should become familiar with the website.  Add a new trip to the club schedule using the "Post New Trip" button (upper right corner of this page).  Fill in the blanks and use the "Test Trip" icon (TT) for the category.  Make sure you set registration to today's date so people can join your trip.  Put the word "TEST" in the title.  Post any sort of trip you'd like.  Your call.

During this session we shall endeavor to discuss:

• How to pick a destination that you'll most likely be comfortable with.
• Resources and related trip beta.
• How many people to take, i.e. a safe minimum and maximum.
• Safety considerations, including club insurance coverage.
• An overview of the process from posting the trip to saying "goodnight".
• The benefits of being a frequent trip organizer, e.g. Pro Deals.
• The BCMC Trip Organizer Insurance Program and Coverage/Liability
• Covid and trip organizing
