Trip Details:

Stop skiing in other people’s tracks and head deep into the backcountry! Tour some of the best backcountry the southern Coast Mountains have to offer on these exhilarating overnight trips with a professional ski guide.

Itinerary:

Day 1

• 8:15am Meet at Escape Route Alpine Demo Centre for gear check and waivers.
• 8:45am Upload Whistler Gondola and begin ski tour out to the Kees and Claire Hut (2.5-4.5 hours).
• Drop gear off at the hut and possible ski the rest of the afternoon.
• Evening food with Guide and debfief.

Day 2

• Morning Breakfast.
• 9:00am Skiing until afternoon
• Evening food with Guide and debrief.

Day 3

• Morning Breakfast.
• Return to Whistler Village via Singing Pass or Musical Bumps
• Debrief at Escape Route Alpine Demo Centre

Gear List:

A full equipment list will be sent to you prior to this trip.

Lift Ticket: A lift ticket is required for day 2 of this course. If you already have a Season Pass, Edge Card or Epic Pass you do not require a ticket. Otherwise you can purchase a backcountry ticket for $59.00+tax at checkout.

Payment:

Deposit Rule: Pay only 50% of the booking cost now to reserve your spot then pay the remainder 30 days before the course/trip start date. Select the option at checkout to redeem. 

On-line Registration process:

(1) Click “Join this trip” on the left hand side of the page. You will be added to the Waiting List

(2) Once on the Waiting List you will have access to the Tour Online Payment on the left side of the page where you will find the promo code. Complete your payment directly with MSAA HERE  using the promo code. Be sure to select the right date in the drop down menu. You will receive a confirmation email from MSAA once your payment is completed.

(3) Forward your confirmation email to courses@bcmc.ca. You will then be added to the Confirmed List.

(4) Keep an eye on your email for further logistic details.
