Nov 6th update: Attendance capped to manage logistics. Thank you for your understanding

My skis and skins are waxed and since a recent report on Shovelnose Creek area was inviting, seems a good place to get into the season and test things out. We'll let the 4x4s do as much of the work up the FSR as possible so we're not having to bootpack too much. Weather forecast will have final say on things, but I'm ok with a low-quality, short ski day. A focus will be to ensure our set up is calibrated for more demanding trips down the road

Have at least AST 1 and the related avy equipment.
