Ski in to Watersprite hut on Saturday morning. Ski surrounding terrain Saturday afternoon. Stretch, dinner, and chill in the hut. More skiing Sunday, then ski out and back home.
We'll arrange rides, etc, closer to the date.
Avalanche safety training at the level of AST1 and avalanche safety gear (beacon, shovel, probe) are mandatory.
Full COVID-19 vaccination status is also mandatory since we'll all be staying in a hut together.
Cost of hut will be divided among the group (expect $50/person).
Potential ski objectives include some combination of Dreadnought Peak, Gibson Peak, Demon Ridge, and/or Martin Peak, depending on conditions. See https://backcountrybc.ca/trip-reports/556-dreadnought-peak, https://www.zenithguides.ca/latest-adventures, https://coastbackcountry.com/2017/02/27/watersprite-cabin/ for trip reports. Much of the skiing is relatively advanced (i.e. black diamond runs). Plan to ascend 1000-1500m each day if conditions allow for good skiing.
