Cutting and moving slide alder off the winter trail to the Watersprite Cabin. A good chance to get a full body workout and pick up some power tool skills in a fun social environment. Too late for a good hike and too early for a good ski. What better time than now to donate a bit of time to the outdoor community. Bring gloves. We may change the date to Sunday if the weather is not cooperating. Plan on being out for about six hours or so. Fuel will be provided. This trip was rescheduled from the previous Saturday due to poor weather. We won't go if its not going to be a dry day, or at least starting out dry. The drive in is about 15 km. The first ten are on good gravel road and the last five are on a loose rough road where AWD or better is needed, although high clearance is not. Fine for a Subaru type vehicle. If you have a small chainsaw, please bring it, otherwise we will have at least a couple of chainsaws and a brush cutter.
