We will fly in and out of the North Creek Cabin and run day trips to the various peaks, glaciers, and valleys above.  The cabin is outfitted with two Coleman stoves and lanterns, a wood heater with lots of firewood, cooking equipment, and utensils for 12 and half a dozen sleeping mats.  In good conditions, there is excellent skiing on Mt Sugas, Pebble, and Hemonious to name a few.  Tree skiing is limited but there is great potential if the weather is good and avi conditions stable.  You need to be a decent backcountry skier to get the most out of this trip.  This trip is not suitable for beginners.  We will share the cooking in groups of two for dinners and breakfasts and hope to make this a gourmet experience as well as a great ski week.  Group costs for the cabin, helicopter, transportation from Vancouver, food and fuel will totaled and shared equally.  Participants must have taken an avalanche course or have equivalent experience, practiced with beacons and shoves and be comfortable on a wide range of snow conditions and terrain.  You should be able to make it up the Grouse Grind in around an hour or less.  

Helicopter flights will leave from the Pemberton airport and a forward staging location near the Lillooet              River bridge at Km 2 on the Lillooet FSR, about 30 km from Pemberton.  Flight costs will be roughly $600 (this can vary depending on weather and other trips in the area)  the cost of booking the cabin for the week is $70.  To be moved from the waiting list to the confirmed list you will need to send the leader the trip cost of $670.   Refunds will be given if the trip does not run, but otherwise, you will have to sell your spot if you decide not to come on the trip.
