Place Glacier- Mt Gardiner, Cirque

Multiday – 3 days 2 nights.

Class 3 scramble with some class 4

Haven’t done this one but its on my list. Have organized with another group so there will be other experienced backpackers on this trip. This hike is rated as hard so please choose accordingly, definitely steep in some/all sections. There is a creek crossing that looks less than ideal but that its part of the journey. We will have a rope, microspikes or crampons and iceaxe will be required if we decide to do any glacier travel.

There are 2 small glaciology huts at the top that look to fit 3, if more than 3 sign up you will need to bring a tent.
