Wanting to get out for a full day of Sport Climbing at Area 44. It's a short approach off the highway north of Squamish but not as far as Chek Canyon. It's in all the main guidebooks, has amazing views and lots of cool climbs but a bit of loose rock here and there (helmets are important even when belaying). The area has a good range of fun climbing from 5.7 up to 5.12s.
Must have shoes, harness, helmet, belay device, lunch and water, quickdraws if leading, and ropes we will try to make sure we have at least 1 per 2 people (can discuss in planning forum)
Plan to get back to Vancouver for 7 or so.
