Trip Description

Friday night car camping. Drive to the top of the Squamish river, and car camp. Spend Saturday investigating potential for a trail following roughly the 800m contour above the river before ascending into the hidden bowl between Little Ring Mountain and the Pemberton Icefield. Beautiful area with volcanic plug (like Black Tusk), waterfalls, lakes, alpine meadows and fantastic views over the Pemberton Icefield. Will involve bushwhacking and some scrambling. Tools like machete or small saw may come in handy.

Sunday, maybe more trail route investigation, or option to ascend old trail route up to Little Ring Peak - again, great views.
