Planning a day trip up to Garibaldi Provincial Park.
The plan would be to start early, maybe leave Vancouver for 05:00 so we can start hiking at 07:00. The trail itself is close to a 30km round trip and could take between 10/11 hours total (excluding lunch). Please keep your fitness level in mind when signing up for this event.
I've been through Taylor Meadows a handful of times now so I'm comfortable there until The Black Tusk junction. From there it'll be a learning experience for me! I do know the scramble at the end to the peak is considered class 3 with the potential for loose rock falling so I'd highly recommend a helmet.
We can carpool if people like and there are a few drivers going up. I should have space for three anyway.
