Day trip to hike the classic Hanes Valley Trail and summit the Crown Mountain in North Shore. 

Come and join us if you need to take a weekend off from all the adventurous July weekends, but still want to be outside for an epic day trip. 

Sunday the traffic will be lighter and the weather will likely be cooler. Plus you will still have Sat and Mon to catch up with life, work and errands!

The plan is to: 

- Start early and hike from Lynn Headwater.

- Hop around some fun boulders and tackle the Hanes Valley Trail.

- Summit the Crown Mountain near the end of the Hanes Valley Trail.

- Take the gondola down Grouse Mountain or hike down via BCMC trail if your legs still feel strong. 

Ideally we will take two vehicles for this thru hike. 

There is only a 30% of chance of rain on Sunday, so we should be oaky. 

We will adjust the plans if it rains hard - not fun to hop the boulders in the rain for sure.
