Early start (6am) from the parking lot in front of Magnesia Creek Trailhead.
We will start hiking in direction of Mt. Brunswick and, once reached the HSCT, we will head toward Brunswick Lake.

Hanover is one that doesn’t have a walk-up route to the summit. The standard scramble route goes up the south gullies on the south face and is reported to be at least 3rdh class with loose rocks.

I have tried to attempt Hanover last year but, due to weather conditions, I turned back on my half way up. Based on what I read, the hike should take 8-12h depending of the pace.

Bring you helmet. We will discuss about the need to bring also harnesses, prusik and belay device for rappelling during the planning meeting.

As this will be a moderately fast-paced trip, please do not come if you can't get up the Grind in around an hour.
