All Trails rates this as difficult with 1500m at the top.  We will be snow camping at 1200m at Panorama Ridge.

The last part of the hike from Alder Flats to Panorama is a bit challenging with full packs on.  4 points of contact needed in some areas.  Wake up early and summit Golden Ears, trail is unmarked,  expect scrambling with some exposure.

Bring your 10 essentials.  Spikes or crampons will be needed, gaiters area great idea.

Not sure on water situation at alpine level, may have to fill up once we reach Alder flats.
