Dave Percival and myself are organizing this trip. We will hike up towards North Creek cabin after placing a car in the Delilah Creek road at 1200 m. We will find out if some food and gear can be taken by helicopter to the cabin the week before for a cost. The next 4 days will be spent traversing rough terrain, crossing the Boomerang glacier and climbing the South ridge of Mt Sampson depending on conditions and group decisions. Depending on weather we will come out to the Delilah drainage. This trip is for people who are competent in glaciated and steep off trail alpine terrain and snow and are able to bushwack in steep terrain. You must be ok with staying together, making decisions as a group and maintaining a moderate pace. You must be familiar with crampon, ice axe use in steep snow. We will take a short rope and a harness. We have room for 1 more person.
