First off, don't expect great snow on this big-vertical-gain day, that is possibly an hour or more shorter than the 7 hr round trip snowshoers recently had. We may also be able to drive further up the FSR, so round trip might be a tad shorter than 20 kms

As the snow will be soft regardless, a slightly 'late' meet up time of 6:30 am is proposed. Car camping is an option for some, though not a necessity.

Before signing up, please understand the route, conditions, and your equipment and ability for a trip like this. Have at least AST 1 and the related emergency equipment. While I'm the organizer, all participants are the leader. As with any trip, consider if you have the knowledge, preparation, and ability to complete the trip solo or lead the group out in a pinch.
