Planning an overnight trip to Elfin lakes this Friday. The plan would be to meet up in West Vancouver at around 9am and then head to the trailhead as a group. Just a small note, please fill your car before leaving Vancouver to avoid any unnecessary stops on the Sea to Sky.
Elfin Lakes Trail Information:
Distance - 22km (return)
Time - 8 hours (return)
Elevation Gain - 685m
From the reports I've been reading the route is still covered in snow, however the trail should be doable with micro spikes and poles (and gaiters if you like)! The trail is rated as moderate so a reasonable level of fitness is required. There's the potential to also bag the Gargoyles while we are up there as well depending on our progress.
There are still about 30 spots available at the lakes so reservations shouldn't be an issue.

There is rain forecast for Friday and Saturday so be prepared. I am also open to switching to a day hike should the weather forecast take a turn for the worst.
