Suns out, t-shirts are out at Sky Pilot!

Planning to meet in Squamish for 1:30pm and drive up the logging road as far as possible towards the top of the Sea to Sky Gondola. Start skinning until around dinner time and set up camp. The following day ski more to get to another camp area in the Sky Pilot area, do some spring warm skiing with a lot of caution due to the warm weather, tell jokes and enjoy the sun in the alpine! This trip can be done as 1 or 2 nights or as a day trip. Option to arrive on Saturday as well. 

This trip is not suitable for newbies or for those who are wanting to charge. This is an easy going paced group with the goal of enjoying the views in the Sky Pilot area, practicing some crevasse rescue/glacier travel and enjoying the warm weather with no heavy duty winter camping set up. If you have winter/backcountry camping experience and gear this trip is for you! 

Vehicle with 4X4 capability will be required for the FSR. More details to come in the planning forum.
