This will be a fun, informal, and interactive info session for those members who would like to know more about organizing club trips.  

In preparation for this tutorial, anyone who has yet to post a trip should become familiar with the website.  Add a new trip to the club schedule by selecting a start date in October of 2021, and put the word "TEST" in the title.  Use the "Test Trip" icon (TT).  This helps us manage test trips.  Post any sort of trip you'd like.  Your call.  The session will help you to understand how to add trip details for the group.  We will also discuss screening questions.  These are important to ensure participants have the necessary skills, e.g. AST-1, or find out who can drive (especially if 4WD is needed or preferred).

During this session we shall endeavor to discuss:

• How to pick a destination that you'll most likely be comfortable with.
• Resources and related trip beta.
• How many people to take, i.e. a safe minimum and maximum.
• Safety considerations, including club insurance coverage.
• An overview of the process from posting the trip to saying "goodnight".
• The benefits of being a frequent trip organizer, e.g. Pro Deals.
• The BCMC Trip Organizer Insurance Program and Coverage/Liability
• Covid and trip organizing
