Skin up to Black mountain after work. Pace will be moderate. One lap is around 270m elevation gain and 1.3km distance. I have done it few times this season and found it quite fun. The trail is usually less crowded than Seymour laps to Brockton point.
The trailhead (49.39750693442374, -123.20657278120989) is in the Cypress ski area, just next to the Eagles chair lift. We will meet at the trailhead at 6:30pm ready to skin up. Please note that we will not go up to the Black Mountain (north or south) summit. Once we get to the top of the Eagles chair, we will ski down the resort runs.
Beacon, shovel, probe and AST-1 or equivalent are required. Please bring a headlamp suitable for skiing at night. 10 Essentials (https://www.mountaineers.org/blog/what-are-the-ten-essentials)
