Day tour to Gin Peak or Hanging Lake area depending on conditions. Snow is forecasted to come on Thursday and Friday so the decision of the type of skiing past Hanging lake will be decided upon arrival depending on safety conditions. 

This trip is suitable for those that want to have a chill/moderate pace day. If you're brand new to ski touring or wanting to charge, this may not be suitable for you. Expect some tight tree skiing on the way back to the parking.

Whistler Olympic Gate will open at 8:30am. Please arrive at gate around 8:15am as the line up will get long to access the park. There is a day/parking fee of $15 per car. We will meet at the furthest parking lot in front of the lodge for 8:40am. The gate will close at 4pm so we will plan our day accordingly to make it back to the cars in time.
