Trip location changed to Red Heather due to avalanche risk Feb.20
Mt Mulligan is a beginner friendly peak SE of Squamish up the Mamquam FSR. It's ~13km round trip up to 1530m, with skinning along a logging road for most of it. It's a safe area and a much quieter alternative to Paul's Ridge. Beautiful views and some fun skiing to be had here. Depending where we park, we'll have up to 900m elevation gain.
I don't know the area well as I've only been there once and didn't make it all the way, so it'll be exploratory for me. People who's been here before welcome. Also dogs allowed here so puppies welcome too.
Here's Rich So's blog on the area http://richso.blogspot.com/2017/02/mount-mulligan.html
