This is something that's been on my bucket list for a long time and it is the reason I started ski touring. I did attempt it last year but had to turn around just past Opal cone because of poor visibility on the glacier. I'm open to doing it either direction. If the plan is northbound, then do a car shuffle friday after work, camp near elfin lakes; saturday camp near sharkfin, and ski out sunday.
Trip will be postponed if there is unfavorable snow condition, or low visibility.
