Meeting Place: Flying J Truck Stop in Hope
Meeting Time: Friday, January 29th at 7:00am
Objective: Thar Peak summit, then ski whatever soft snow we can find on the sheltered north line

Participants should be prepared for challenging skinning conditions. Icy, choppy, hard-pack on the way up is likely. Ski crampons are required.

Ski quality will be variable.  Ability to ski black diamond steepness in icy conditions is recommended.

Fitness for a 1,200m day is required.   Please self-assess conservatively.  Don't be the one holding up the whole group.  This is an intermediate-advanced trip.

All participants should follow the COVID related guidelines posted on BCMC website.

• Separate vehicles for all participants, no carpooling.  
• Physical distance will be maintained throughout the day.
