The goal is to get to the hut. I want to change the battery on door lock and check the propane system. Bring a mask for the hut.

We'll drive up Furry Creek Main until we get stopped by snow. I have a key to the gate. As there is no carpooling, each family unit must have their own 4WD vehicle.

Beacon, shovel, headlamp, spare batteries required.  There are probably a few open creeks across the trail in the first 2 km. The skiing may be challenging at times. Not suitable for snowboards or intermediate skiers.
