Please answer all of of the questions in the BC Covid-19 Symptom Self Assessment Tool questionnaire found here: https://bc.thrive.health/covid19/en. You will be required to provide your results in the screening questions. My results are: "You don’t appear to have symptoms of COVID-19".
Recently moved to Van so I don't have too much experience hiking the North Shore in the off-season. Based on last weekend's trip to Brunswick there appears to be minimal snow. Hopefully we should be able to make it a decent amount of the way up with microspikes and good boots.
The forecast says Saturday should have pretty clear skies, and it should be just above freezing for the majority of the way up. Please ensure you bring waterproof boots, gloves, and clothes (if you don't want to get too wet) as well as microspikes/crampons of some sort. I'm personally comfortable scrambling (to some degree) on a mixture of snow/rock. The scramble to the top should be pretty easy.
I have a car and can drive 2 other people. We'll likely be shooting for an 8am start.
We'll have a group Zoom call Friday night to iron out the details.
