Early start (7am) from the parking lot in front of Magnesia Creek Trailhead.
We will start hiking in direction of Mt. Brunswick and, once reached the HSCT, we will head toward Brunswick Lake.
Hanover is one that doesn’t have a walk-up route to the summit. The standard scramble route goes up the south gullies on the south face and is reported to be at least 3rdh class with loose rocks.
In case of wet rock, we might use a rope to repel in security down.
I have never done it before, but, based on what read, the hike should take 8-10h.
Bring you helmet, headlamp, harnesses, prusik and belay device for precaution.
Please take the Covid-19 screening test and confirm that you have passed https://bc.thrive.health/covid19/en
As this will be a moderately fast-paced trip, please do not come if you can't get up the Grind in around an hour
If weather/conditions don’t guarantee the minimum safety levels, the trip will be canceled (last minute cancellations might occur).
Participants will be responsible for their own transportation.
