The hike into the Lizzie cabin is a 15 km, 1500m ascent on good trails.  We will camp by the cabin and hike and scramble among the meadows, lakes and peaks that dot this high alpine area.  On the way in and out we will do a little trail trimming, so please bring a pair of nippers.  This will be a moderately fast-paced trip.  You should have done some backpacking over the summer and be able to get up the Grind (or equivalent) in about an hour.  The trail follows an old logging road for the first 11 km and then a steepish trail up to the cabin.  The parking lot is located about 15 km down the Lillooet Lake road and is 2WD accessible.  Participants will be responsible for their own transportation.
