At the end of May, with great human effort and suffering, we carried in and cached 70% of our new building materials at the Zone B work zone at the 1.5 KM mark of the trail (see map below).
Zone B is the vulnerable Watersprite Lake Trail Connector Trail and needs reinforcement to handle the 5000 hiker pounding it receives annually. This team will construct the new boardwalk and steps on the connector trail.
The second human mule team will carry the remaining 30% of materials which have already been carried and cached at the .5 KM mark to the trail to the work zone.
