Backcountry Tricks of the Trade & Gear Swap
by Oudi, Winifred & Cliff

Let's share some of our MacGyver skills this coming social!
Oudi, Winifred and Cliff will be showing us how to make wands, how to sharpen your ice tools, how to repair your ripped jackets & pants and, just for fun, how to improvise sun glasses if you lost yours in the mountains.
 
Last but not least, we will also have a gear swap night. Bring your new and gently used mountain gear in the closet and make some cash! And don't forget to bring some cash with you too - you never know what you will find!

**Cut off time to register for the gear swap is Friday, March 6th at 6pm**

 

The Social will take place at the Vancouver ANZA Club main floor (corner of 8th Ave and Ontario) on Tuesday, March 10th. The entrance door will open at 7 pm and we will begin the evening at 7:30 PM with an Update from the Executive. Please note: you must be 19+ years old to attend and may be asked to sign-in at the door to ensure we don't exceed 117 people in the hall. Once at capacity we will be forced to turn attendees away. Feel free to grab a drink at the cash bar before the social starts.
