We will gather at my apartment to practice various knots, hitches, and building anchors.  Anchor scenarios will be top rope with two bolts, 3 gear anchors, monolithic anchor at the top of a pitch.

This practice session is intended for climbers who have taken outdoor climbing courses through a mountaineering/rock climbing organization like the BCMC or ACC or a legitimate rock climbing guiding company and also have some experience climbing outdoors.

Feel free to bring whatever anchor building materials you wish.

I will provide cordalette, slings, loose webbing and carabiners and various books that we will use to review each knot, hitch, and anchor that we build.

Selection will be based on having completed climbing courses and outdoor climbing experience.  If you haven't taken a course I would recommend taking one.
