The weather is looking good next weekend, and I’d like to head up to Brandywine for some alpine peak views and exploratory roaming. We’ll plan to camp in the meadows and hit Brandywine on Saturday, and hike around to Metal Dome or attempt a traverse toward Mt Fee, and pack out the second day. Pace will be moderate-fast with expected moderate Class 2-3 scrambling if weather is good and we attempt the summit. We can also split into groups if there are others who don’t want to scramble. Required gear: tent, stove, standard backpacking and rain gear.
