Going to see the Golden Larches in Manning Park. 5 -7 hour round trip, 1,100m elevation gain, 22 km round trip on well marked trail, moderate pace, option to proceed onto Mount Frosty or stop on the high plateau by the larches and join back up with the group on the way down.

Be prepared for fall mountain weather (layer up and down), bring a head lamp, food for the day plus a bit extra in case of emergency and microspikes recommended in case we encounter icy trails up top.

Taking one vehicle, share gas, I will drive. Approximately 2 hour drive one way.
