Boundary Chevron at 6:00 AM or Hope Chevron at 7:30 am
This is a full day hike on a good trail. If there has been any snow, it is a very good idea to bring micro spikes and ski poles. The trail can get very glazed and icy if there has been snow. Members can go to the meadows or to the peak. It is roughly a six hour return trip. Bring a head lamp. The meadows below Mt. Frosty have the most southerly stand of Larch trees in BC. These turn a beautiful golden brown colour in the fall, before losing their needles. This is a very popular fall trip. Temperatures range from a balmy 20 C to a chilly - 5 C. Be prepared for all conditions. As we come back on the same trail, slower hikers are welcome to join us and go at their own pace. Generally we will travel at a moderately fast pace.
