We are planning on taking our 14 month old son up to the hut for the weekend to enjoy the scenery and do some short walks/ snowshoe hikes. Other BCMC members are welcome to join us however, other attendees should be prepared for the chaos and noise that toddlers can create. That being said, other families or tolerant club members are welcome join us.

The plan would be to meet around 10:30am on Saturday at the locked Fury creek FSR gate, use the club key to drive ~10km of forestry road to the trail head and walk up to hut. We will then spend 2 nights and head down sometime on Monday afternoon. The trial will be rough and overgrown in places and snow will be encountered so alpine skills and experience are required. Depending on numbers a second 4WD vehicle may be required.   

The trip open only to BCMC members. This is a stick rule negotiated between the club and manager of the Fury Creek FSR.
