Summer solstice is upon us so a beautiful time to be up in the Tantalus range to enjoy the very long days and to do some local exploration adjusted to reflect participants' interests, skill level and snow conditions once we have established camp at Lake Lovely Water.

About me. This is the first BCMC trip I'm organizing (I have organized others, but not BCMC). I have hiked, scrambled and explored for many years, but I am not a technical climber (sadly, I'm afraid, most of my climbing has been top roping in the winter months at Cliff Hanger) and my glacier travel experience is very limited. So my intent is to enjoy the area, the long days and good company and if we make it up to some interesting places, cool, but FYI not a peak bagging trip.

Ideally I'd like to have at least one shared dinner to celebrate summer's arrival.
