The weather is looking so lets get out and climb.

We will meet at the Park sign for 6 pm and climb until after the sun goes down. I would love to spend a bit more time at Arbutus Alley which is very close to the main climbing area of Juniper Point. The grades are Arbutus are a bit harder 5.10.  The plan is try and do both areas if there is time or people can go to whichever area they want.

Participants must come with all gear to build top rope anchors, Personal Anchor System, at least 5 or six locking carabiners, prussik in case you want to rappel, and have a couple of months outdoor climbing experience under their belts. Must be a competent Top Rope Belayer. 

I believe their might be one sport route at Arbutus Alley.

Please bring, water, snacks, extra clothing, bug spray that will rappel Ticks. Arbutus Trees are Tick magnets so come prepared.
