Trip Description

The plan is to be further discussed, but a rough outline is:
Drive up to North Joffre creek up the Duffey. Hike up the creek (following an old logging road, ugh) and then take the branch of the creek that leads to the Cayoosh/Cirque saddle. At some point along here, drop overnight gear and gain the SW ridge of Cayoosh and then reaching Cayoosh itself. Then descend along the same route, pickup cached overnight gear and continue to the col to setup camp. Early the next day, we do a very similar style route up to Cirque peak (rated very difficult in Matt Gunn's scrambles book - via a different route) before descending back to the start.
This trip will involve a lot of scrambling, probably some bushwhacking, possibly a rappel or two.

You must have recent experience in:
- Alpine mountaineering / Scrambling
- Snow camping

Gear required:
- Crampons and ice axe
- Rope (may be able to share)
- Harness, helmet
- Headlamp/torch
- 10 essentials, other gear

Emergency Info:
Make sure your Emergency contact is up to date. You will need this to attend the trip.
